 Dear Travelers,
I'm exploring in Israel and Palestine this month as we film TV shows that'll air on public television in 2014. Starting today, I'll be blogging daily for several weeks about my experiences, and I hope you can join me.
In Israel, I'm wearing my yarmulke, and I'm ready to learn. Then crossing into Palestine, I'll learn that perspective. Together we'll connect with students at Palestinian universities, visit with Zionist settlers whose claim to the land dates back to Biblical times, bob like a cork in the Dead Sea, and roast coffee with Bedouin nomads. There's no better way to learn than to actually walk in the footsteps of the fascinating spectrum of people who call this region home and struggle to share it peacefully.
I can't promise any easy answers to this complex mix, but I can promise vivid insights and a powerful opportunity to learn about a land a third of humanity considers holy.
