After a very successful escorted cruise last September, I'm pleased to announce this year's 12 Day Escorted Accessible Cruise to Scandinavia and Russia! One of our employees Danielle, who specializes in accessible travel in North Europe, will be escorting this group of 14 people to ensure that all aspects of your vacation run smoothly. The cruise itinerary visits some of the most spectacular cities in Northern Europe: - Berlin, Germany - Visit the famous Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag parliament building, the remnants of the Berlin Wall, and more
- Tallinn, Estonia - Visit the Upper Town including the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Lower Town including the city walls and the Town Hall, and more
- St. Petersburg, Russia - Spend 2 days visiting the Our Savior on the Spilled Blood church, Peter the Great's Peterhof Palace, the Hermitage Museum, and more
- Helsinki, Finland - Visit the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, the Helsinki Market Square, the historic Kappeli Café, and more
- Stockholm, Sweden - Visit the lost (and now found) Vasa war ship, the Royal Palace, the City Hall, the Stockholm Archipelago consisting of 30,000 islands, and more
- Copenhagen, Denmark - Visit the Charlottenborg Royal Palace, the Nyhavn harbor, the Copenhagen City Hall, the Roseburg Gardens, and more
- Amsterdam, Netherlands - Visit famous art by Van Gogh and Rembrandt, Amsterdam's "Old Church", the Royal Palace, and more
In each port, you'll have the opportunity to experience full-day accessible excursions....none of those 2 hour see-the-city-through-a-bus-window tours that the cruise lines offer! These will include accessible interior visits to the tourist attractions and accessible routes to get between them. A local tour guide will explain the significance and history of each sight you visit. You'll also have lunch in accessible restaurants with authentic local cuisine. The cruise will be on the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship, which consistently gets rave reviews from passengers. It has a grass lawn on its top deck and is home to my favorite restaurant on any cruise ship, Qsine. Such a comfortable and luxurious way to travel in Europe!
